Early Detection of Heart Disease: ProBNP blood test

Cardiopet proBNP test is a noninvasive blood test that measures NTproBNP, a peptide that is released as the chambers of the heart are stretched excessively.

The ProBNP test allows to quantitatively track cardiac disease progression and make judgments about the condition of the heart in order to determine the appropriate course of action.

Unfortunately, my veterinary friends tell me that the accuracy of this test is not sufficient because there are too many false positives and negatives.
